Forest kindergarten - LESNÍ ŠKOLKA

Currently this is still in the planning. It is an initiative by Radka and Radka, based on the huge success of such kindergartens in Scandinavia and Germany the past 30 years. The concept is simple: As much as possible the children are outside, in the forest and without toys. This stimulate observation, creativity, health and intelligence in the children. Typically the children has some kind of basic shelter to hide in during bad weather, or for a mid-day nap. The following photos show how our shelter is being built: It happen to be the first load bearing structure in Czech Republic, and also the first structure i C.R. made by big bales. We hope it will be finalized in 2009. This means making a grass roof, interior floor and final plasters etc.

Jednoduše - předškolní děti tráví co nejvíce času venku, v lese a bez přinesených hraček. Takové konání podporuje pozorovací schopnosti, tvořivost, zdraví a soustředěnost.

Lesní školky se poprvé objevily v Dánsku v 50. letech 20. století, když jedna maminka začala každý den brát děti svých přátel spolu se svými do blízkého lesa. Podobně tomu bylo ve Skotsku a jiných zemích. V dnešní Skandinávii je pojem lesních školek zcela běžný a rodiče sami z vlastní iniciativy zakládají školky tohoto typu. Ve Švédsku existuje pod označením “Venku za každého počasí” kolem stovky mateřských škol. Lesní školky najdete také ve Švýcarsku a v Německu, kde je v současné době více než 1000 lesních školek. První z nich byla otevřena v roce 1993 ve Flensburgu.
